Each camper should bring
the following items: 

		Close fitting jeans, chaps (full or half) or jodhpurs.
		Hard-soled shoe with a heel (shorts and tennis shoes can be brought for other activities)
		Black velvet ASTM certified helmet
		Hair should be neatly in hair band or braids if past child’s shoulders
		Lunch/snack/drinking water
		Suntan lotion

Black Velvet ASTM safety helmets are available for first time rider use, but we suggest purchasing one of your own.

The purpose of Foster Jimenez Show Stables Summer Riding Camp is to provide the rider, from beginner to advanced, with a well rounded, solid foundation in hunt seat riding and horsemanship.

Campers will have the opportunity to experience first hand all aspects of horsemanship; from horse care, daily stable management and equine anatomy to weekly visits from the blacksmith and veterinarian. Special sessions during the summer will offer field trips to the “A” rated horse shows in the area.

Our staff has many years of experience teaching and working with children, and they feel a great sense of accomplishment as young riders progress to new levels.
